Okay folks, let cut to the chase. It’s 2010. I have been “at home” the past decade. And although I’ve been working harder than I ever have for no actual pay, the time has come to resume gainful employment. Due to our temperamental and sadly inadequate oven, my baking business is on hold until I can earn enough to replace it. The good news? I am available for hire.
I have been looking for some weeks now. Reading the classifieds, pouring through listings online. I have made inquiries, but no luck yet. Yes, I know. The economy is really bad. There aren’t a lot of places looking to hire anyone, let alone someone who’s been out of the professional labor force the past ten years. But I will not be discouraged.
My experiences & qualifications include:
- I have a degree in business administration and a masters in economics.
- I have excellent financial management skills.
- For five years I ran a successful business on eBay.
- This year I sold my own house.
- 9 months ago, I started a commercial baking business built on the recipes I created and published through my low sodium website The Daily Dish.
- I am a prolific & skilled writer with a passion for photography.
- I am creative, resourceful and practical. I get the job done.
I am looking for an opportunity to parlay my skills into paid employment. Email me for a copy of my resume or for more information.
Thanks for reading and feel free to pass this on.
