The Spice House

Is there anything nicer than receiving a present completely out of the blue??  NO WAY!  But that’s exactly what happened to me a few weeks ago and I was so touched that I just had to share!

When this lil’ baby arrived in the mail, I simply SQUEALED with delight!  (Oh yes I did.)  WHY?  Because I LOVE PRESENTS!!!  But far more than that.  This custom-made gift box from The Spice House arrived just in time for dinner.  I happened to be roasting a simple chicken, and what better way to show my gratitude that by ripping open my present and putting it to good use!

This Sunny Paris Seasoning is sublime.  A luxurious blend of dried shallots and scallions, French basil, chervil, tarragon and dill, ground Muntok pepper and green peppercorns, it’s as pretty as it is delicious.  I felt like a million bucks sprinkling it over my chicken, but the taste?  Oh my.  I made soup with the leftovers the next day, and added some more of the seasoning to the stock.  Best ever.

THIS is the perfect gift for someone on a low sodium diet.  Classy, yet practical, these delicious salt free seasonings will leave your loved one thanking you each & every time they eat.  Packaged in a lovely gift box, with freshly dried bay leaves, cinnamon sticks and nutmeg tucked all around.  It took my breath away.  The holidays are coming up, but you needn’t wait to  surprise someone.  Go ahead, make someone’s day!

The Spice House sells over 40 salt free seasoning blends, so there’s something for everyone, and gift orders can be custom-tailored to suit your taste.  Choose from jarred spices, inexpensive bags, whatever works best for you and your budget.  Contact them through their website with any questions, or call and speak directly during business hours (847) 328 3711.  Better yet, if you live in the Chicago area, or in Milwaukee, Wisconsin — visit one of their stores in person!
