The easiest smoothies ever. Ready in two minutes flat and with only three ingredients: ice, juice and a can of fruit. Perfect as is – or throw in a splash of rum or vodka – and you’ve got yourself the perfect summer treat.
Yields four 8-oz. servings.
3 c. ice (about 15 cubes)
1 15-oz. can mixed tropical fruit, in juice
1 c. mango or pineapple juice (I really like Apple & Eve 100% Mango Passion)
Place ice into a blender or food processor and process until all of the ice has been shaved into tiny bits. Add the fruit and puree. Add juice and blend well. Serve immediately.
