Baked Salmon

An incredibly simple yet amazingly delicious way to prepare salmon. NOT to mention super low in sodium! One taste and you’ll be hard pressed make it any other way.

Serves 6.



SODIUM CONTENT: 88.9 mg per serving

INGREDIENTS

2 lb. boneless salmon
3 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon)
1 T. olive oil
1/2 t. freshly ground black pepper
1/2 t. dried thyme
1 t. dried parsley

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Cut the salmon filet into 6 individual portions. Arrange pieces in a 9 x 13-inch casserole, leaving a little space between pieces. Drizzle lemon juice and olive oil over the small filets, then sprinkle the pepper, thyme and parsley evenly over top. Cover pan with aluminum foil, place on middle rack in oven and bake 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
